"Yes, this brand is very soft. I like that. The reason I like the bland? I can add my own spices. I tried a brand that started with a "B". If you like cumin, that brand is better. In my opinion, the cumin overpowers all the other flavors. I take Eat Regal rice and add garlic powder, dried green chile powder, sometimes some Willinghams cajun hot. Gebhardt chili powder is another spice I use."

“Like Pasta Zing so much better than the Barilla Ready Pasta, I used to buy. This pasta is so versatile, you can add any sauce, vegetables, chopped cooked meat, even cooked salmon, and have a delicious meal in minutes. I cook the packet of pasta in the microwave for 60 seconds, as directed on the package. Then pour the pasta into a microwave safe bowl and add peas and about a cup of jarred Alfredo sauce, and microwave and additional 2 minutes. Viola! Dinner is done. If I have leftover chicken, I'll chop it up and add it to the mix.”

“If you don't feel like cooking pasta tonight the Zing Spaghetti Pasta in the microwave bag is the best alternative that I have tried. I've tried the frozen version (nests) and Thai noodle versions of cooked pasta from Trader Joe's and other sources. They were good, but not as close to home-cooked pasta as the Zing Pasta. The frozen spaghetti nests aren't always available and the Thai noodles seem to be packaged with a little more oil for other recipes. The Zing Pasta is very good and only takes a minute to heat.”
